Fabio Torrembini – Double bass

Graduating with the highest honors in double bass in 1986 and in singing at the “G. Nicolini” Conservatory of Music in Piacenza, Fabio Torrembini obtained a degree in Political Science from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan in 1989.

From the beginning, he embarked on an intense musical career that led him to collaborate with major symphonic and chamber institutions in Italy and abroad. He has worked with renowned orchestras such as the RAI Symphony Orchestra, “A. Toscanini” Symphony Orchestra of Parma, Teatro Regio Orchestra of Parma, Padova and Veneto Chamber Orchestra, Pomeriggi Musicali of Milan, under the guidance of important conductors such as Gary Bertini, Riccardo Chailly, Vladimir Delman, Daniele Gatti, Isaac Karabathevski, Romano Gandolfi, Daniel Oren, Hubert Soudant, Gianandrea Gavazzeni.

He is an active member of some of the most prestigious instrumental ensembles in Italy, with which he has made significant recordings featuring soloists of the caliber of Mariella Devia, Sergej Larin, Michele Pertusi, Leo Nucci, Andrea Bocelli.

Since 2004, he has been an artistic consultant for several theaters in Emilia and a business development manager for important Italian music production companies, organizing concerts and operas in Italy and abroad (Korea, Cyprus, Russian Federation…).

In 2014, he made his debut as a director, overseeing two performances (with Gerardo Placido, Valerio Massimo Manfredi, Sebastiano Somma, Eleonora Brigliadori) as part of the Orvieto Festival of Art and Culture.

Since June 2021, he has been collaborating with the newspaper “La Ragione” as a consultant.
